Following on from the recent Budget 2022 announcements that have an impact for artists, arts workers and arts organisations, we invite the arts sector to an online meeting for updates on the key points in our Pre-Budget Submission, including those that have been put into action and those that still need to be addressed. The meeting took place at 11am on 23rd November.

Among other issues, the meeting will covered:

Arts Council funding
Culture Ireland funding
Basic Income for artists
Creative Ireland funding
Local Authority funding for the arts
Review of taxation
Insurance reform
Creative Green programme
Action plan to address systemic barriers to equal access to the arts
Research and data on the arts sector
Help the NCFA continue to advocate for the arts in Ireland.
