RELEASE: NATIONAL CAMPAIGN FOR THE ARTS RESPONDS TO THE PUBLICATION OF GOVERNMENT’S JULY STIMULUS PACKAGE

We will hold an update meeting for all artists and arts workers on Friday 24th July at 2pm to provide an update on recent and upcoming NCFA activity, and to answer questions about the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) and related issues for artists and arts workers. The meeting will take place on Zoom and will last one hour.

Speakers will include Peter Daly, actor and Chartered Accountant, and Karan O’Loughlin, who represents artists and arts workers though Irish Equity/SIPTU, who will provide an update on the current situation in relation to the PUP, tax implications, how the PUP may be affected by taking on work, and any other questions you have. Angela Dorgan, Chair of NCFA, will also give a short update on our ongoing advocacy and engagement with various stakeholders, as well as an outline of upcoming activity.
