Standards and our National Cultural Institutions
As the McNulty / IMMA sorry story has brought an apology from the Taoiseach, the candidate’s withdrawal, assurances from Tánaiste that future board appointments will be made via the Commission for Public Appointments, is any of this enough to ensure that this Government adheres to even the minimum acceptable standards of governance in all Departments, including the Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht as well as our National Cultural Institutions and especially the National Concert Hall?
