Element Pictures Distribution and IFI are proud to present an exclusive advance screening of What Richard Did in support of the National Campaign for the Arts on Tuesday Oct 2nd.

As NCFA enters into the crucial pre-budget lobbying period, we are working hard to ensure that the arts is kept on local and national government agendas and that investment in the arts is maintained. We need your financial support to do this work. Join us for a preview of the hugely anticipated new film from director Lenny Abramhamson and show your support for Irish arts that night.

What Richard Did is a striking portrait of the fall of Richard, golden-boy of his privileged set of Dublin teens, whose world unravels one summer night. What Richard Did follows Richard Karlsen, golden-boy athlete and undisputed alpha-male of his privileged set of South Dublin teenagers, through the summer between the end of school and the beginning of university. The world is bright and everything seems possible, until in one summer night Richard does something that destroys it all and shatters the lives of the people closest to him. Directed by longtime NCFA supporter Lenny Abramhamson and featuring extraordinary performances from its mainly young cast, What Richard Did is a quietly devastating study of a boy confronting the gap between who he thought he was and who he proves to be. Special guests in attendance.
